We invite you to come get "down and dirty" at the 4th annual Mud Run on the last Saturday in March. The challenging but fun course includes hills, water, obstacles, drill sargeants, and yes, plenty of mud.
The Mud Run is a Big Sur Marathon event sponsored by the U.S. Army Garrison-Presidio of Monterey and California State University Monterey Bay.

Congratulations to all finishers of the 2009 Big Sur Mud Run!  You were a fantastic and fun group of runners and your smiles as you exited that final mud pit were wonderful.  Registration for our 2010 event will open on November 1, 2009.
