DIRECTIONS & PARKING: |
From Highway 101 take 156 west (the Monterey Peninsula exit) to Highway 1 south. Take the CSU Monterey Bay/Ft. Ord Main Entrance exit. You will cross back over the highway onto Light Fighter Drive. Make a left at 2nd Avenue. The parking lot will be on the right, follow the directional signs. If northbound on Highway 1 take the same exit and follow the same directions. |
|
INDIVIDUAL & TEAM COMPETITION: |
Participants may compete as individuals or as part of a 5-person team. Individuals may compete as civilians or as military. Team categories include:
- Open Male
- Open Female
- Mixed
- Corporate
- Military
- Public Safety
- Collegiate
You must be 15 years of age or older and in good health to participate. If you are part of team, all five team members must cross the finish line TOGETHER to compete for awards! |
| WAVE START |
The start will consist of four separate "waves". The first two will be individual runners, and the second two will be for the teams. Due to the narrowness of the trails in several areas, this will help prevent crowding. Winning times will be based on TAG time, not GUN time, so it is possible for individual runners in the second wave and teams in the fourth wave to place in the event.

|
AWARDS: |
Overall winner awards will be given to the top male and female individual finishers in both civilian and military categories. Divisional awards will go three deep in 10 year age groups after 15-19. Awards will also be given to the top three teams in all categories (open male, open female, mixed, corporate, military, public safety, high school and collegiate). The awards ceremony will be held in Freeman Stadium at 10:30 AM |
